Prayers at Home - When Gathering For Mass Is Not Possible
In these extraordinary times when we cannot gather as a Christian Community to celebrate Mass, let us unite ourselves spiritually to the Mass as it is being celebrated in our churches.  You can do this by joining broadcast Masses on radio, parish radio or television or via the internet. If these are not available, you are encouraged to pray the following prayers at the normal time for the celebration of Mass on Sunday or a Weekday or at any other suitable time. Parish Lenten Mission has been cancelled.
Fr. Dominic comes to us from Kansas where he is the parochial administrator of three Catholic Churches in the towns of Eureka, Hamilton, and Madison. He was born in Andhra Pradesh State, India and has been a priest with the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales for the past 14 years. He has authored a book entitled To Be Wholly Holy: Salesian Glimpses of Holiness and his talks explain ideas of Salesian Therapy which is the integrated outcome of Salesian Spirituality and different theories of Counseling.    Please join Fr. Knights of Columbus Council #7163 College Scholarship
This Scholarship Program was designed and established to award two $500 scholarships. One will be awarded to a deserving child or grandchild of a Knights of Columbus, Council #7163 member in good standing. The other will be awarded to a graduating high school senior of Hondo High School or D’Hanis High School. DHS seniors pick up your application at the Holy Cross parish office. Deadline for completed applications: May 4, 2020.
