Background Check and VIRTUS Training

The Archdiocese of San Antonio requires all adult volunteers (Age 18 yrs and older) who work or have contact with minors to complete a background check form and the Adult Safe Environment Training.  Training and a background check is required to be renewed every three years.  The Archdiocese of San Antonio is currently using Protecting God's Children developed by VIRTUS to educate adults on abuse prevention.  VIRTUS provides traditional on-site training, on-line training, and on-line renewal training.  Click on the link below and print out a background check form and return it to the parsh office.
